First, there is no need to wait for the dough to rise. Instead, it's done in less than 5 minutes, ready for rolling out and filling.
Second, I'm sure you all have the ingredients needed anytime. It's just the basics for a dough.
Third, the dough is smooth, non-sticky and very elastic. Therefore, it can be easily shaped and rolled out, without breaking and sticking to the work surface.
Fourth, it is suitable for any filling you can imagine! It has a totally neutral taste, so you can use any pizza topping you like: salted, sweet, sour, spicy...
And last, but not least: although the dough is neutral itself, the edges that remain without topping have a pretzel-like taste after baking... It's cool, right? :)
So, if you've decided to try out this no-yeast pizza dough after reading my pros, here's the recipe! Hope you like it!
Ingredients needed for one 35cm round pizza:
1. Combine flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl. Add oil and water and start kneading. The dough is ready when it becomes smooth and stops sticking to your fingers and to the bowl.
And that's all! Now, roll it out onto a work surface, lightly sprinkled with some flour, until you get the desired thickness, or you can toss it if you are skillful enough. :)
Note that the dough rises approx. 5 mm during baking.
So, keep calm and enjoy making pizza! :)
