- Bring some water to boiling and cook the potatoes with their skin on, until soft. Then peel them and cut into slices (app. 5mm thickness).
- Beat the eggs. Add milk and sour cream and combine until homogenized. Add crumbled cheese, oil and spices, some salt and pepper to taste and combine.
- Lightly grease a baking pan and arrange half of the potatoes as you do when preparing mousaka, sprinkle with some salt and pepper and pour half of the egg mixture.
Repeat the procedure once again with the rest of the potatoes and egg mixture. Do not mix or stir.
- Bake into a preheated oven at 250°C until it gets a golden-brown crust.
